Teacher Preparation Program
The Faculty of the Academic Education Program is proud to report that the Teacher Preparation Programs (PPM) of the Universidad Ana G. Mendez Campus: Cupey, Carolina and Gurabo are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Our commitment as a provider (EPP) is to prepare and develop teacher candidates; professional, thoughtful, skilled, innovative, and effective. For these purposes, we have identified the quality control measures (QAS) that are taken at various points in the teacher candidate's training. This allows us to intervene in time, identify areas of opportunity and maintain good practices. This control also makes it easier for us to make evidence-based decisions that improve the process and quality of the program and, consequently, that of the candidate.
